Hello everyone,
2014
has been a great year for us. We started off the year getting ready to move
from TX where Jon graduated from his Bio-medical Equipment Technician training
with high honors. We moved from San Antonio to Ogden UT, where Jon started his
new job with VSE Corporation as a BMET technician. He loves being able to put
his training to good use. On top of his job he started going to school at
Kaplan University. The training he completed with the Army was transferable
for his civilian degree and he only had to complete 5 classes to reach his
Associates degree in Health Sciences, which he will complete in March. He still
has his Army Reserve commitment, which he is enjoying and of course he still
tries to go shooting, camping or just being outdoors in any spare time he has.
Taegen
turned 4 this year and is full of energy. He definitely got the Lindhardt
stubborn gene. J He
loves being outside, especially if Jon is out there as well. He is daddy’s
little shadow, which they both thoroughly enjoy. He has made some friends here
in Ogden that he says are his “girl friends”. He is only 4 and already has some
girls who just adore him and vice versa J
He loves Avengers, although his new
favorite super hero is batman. Currently he is doing some school online and
although he complains about it, he is learning a lot and is starting to learn
to read. He also took some karate classes this summer and had a lot of fun with
that.
Ellie
turned 2 this year and is in such a fun stage. She is full of personality and is
constantly asking “what is that” to everything she sees us doing. She is
talking full sentences and is constantly pushing boundaries to see what she can
get away with. She loves any and all stuffed animals. In fact, she has at least
5 that she insists on sleeping with every night. We also got a dog this year, a
great dane named Blue. Both of the kids just love him, and he is so great with
them.
As for
me I have my hands with these two hooligans of mine. J They truly play so well
together, which I love and makes my job as a stay at home mom so much easier. This
year I started my own business with Nerium International, which has been a fun
new adventure for me. I really enjoy having something of my own to put some of
my effort into. Although I did have to take a short break from this at the end
of the summer when we found out we were pregnant with baby number 3! I got
pretty sick and unable to do too much. I’m now feeling much better and am
excited to welcome another girl into our family in May of next year.
We have
had an amazing year and are really excited for 2015 and all it has to offer for
us. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Love,
The Evertsen’s
