Then we tried to go to an Easter egg hunt on base but once we got on base we couldn't find it. :( But we did end up find another Easter shindig going on. They had bounce houses, face painting, coloring activities, a park and food.
He got so excited when he saw the bounce house, but yet this is what he did once he got in...
He literally just stood there. Silly boy.
The park it was at was actually a cool one. It had all the old school toys. I only got 1 pic of Jon and Taegs playing, but they had so much fun.
Taegs with the Easter bunny.
Face painting. He told her he wanted a frog, which the lady said she could do...
ummmm, not so much. Worlds strangest looking frog ever. But thats ok because he still loved it.
The tuesday before Easter, for our play group we had a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt in the church. (plastic eggs stuffed with a glow stick) Super cute idea. I didn't get any pics of him during the hunt, but here's some of him playing with the eggs/glow sticks once we got home.
The saturday before hand we colored some eggs, then Sunday morning before church we had our own little hunt.
Taegs loved dyeing the eggs. He would have dyed all of them red if we would have let him.
patiently waiting for the egg to finish dyeing red

Egg hunt
When he found his basket he said "SUPER DUPER" haha. Some of the things he says sometimes just cracks me up.
Ellie thought the eggs were pretty cool too.

Then on Easter sunday we got invited over to a friends house (one we actually met back in Hurricane. They were visiting their family there for Christmas but they live here. Small world) for a pot luck dinner and egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. Taegs walked around with this Batman mask on during the whole hunt. The hunt was supposed to be outside but right before we were going to do it, it started raining really bad. So last minute, we switched it to inside.
