The one with Jons accomplishments

Jon isnt one to brag much about himself, so Im going to do it for him! He has been working so hard lately. Back in Nov he started working on his promotion to seargant packet. This is mainly just a whole lot of paper work. There were a lot of issues, starting with the guy supposed to check the packet before submitting it to the approval board. The guy didnt even look over it, he just signed it and sent it in. Luckily Jons packet wasnt the only one he did this to, so they realized it wasnt his fault that an incomplete packet was sent in. They let him complete it and it was finally approved last month. Yay! This is the biggest and hardest promotion to get. Some people spend years at a specialist waiting for a position to open up. Jon has been in the Army for 4 years in July and he only spent a short amount of that time as a specialist! He has worked hard to prove himself and he just had his pinning ceremony last weekend. He had to fly out to Utah, so me and the kids werent able be there :( But we're proud of him non the less.
He also just got his associates degree. The training through the Army that he did to become a BMET counted towards his civilian degree. All he had to do was complete 5 general classes. He started last July and his last class finished up in March. So proud of this guy for all his hard work!
